About Our Pro Bono Opportunities

A criminal record limits access to employment, education, housing and financial independence. Free to Thrive is one of the leading California nonprofits clearing criminal records related to exploitation.
We depend on pro bono attorneys to help meet our clients’ criminal record clearing needs. Our pro bono attorneys double our capacity to represent survivors.
Lawyers with any legal background can take a vacatur matter and we will train you in criminal vacatur and trauma-informed lawyering. We will also provide you with case support and technical assistance throughout your case.
